WHSmith £10 gift card with 2 books

Choice of lots of hardbacks, I saw Strictly Come Dancing, Justin Lee Collins, Delia's Christmas etc. Cheapest was £9.99 so not a bad deal if you were going to buy them anyway as pressies...:):T

I missed the £5 peter kay deal which I take it that is in it, might be worth taking a look. Is the card no expiry or minimum spend and can be spent on everything but lottery/vouchers etc. Also could you use the 20% or £5 off voucher?
  • Hi

Not sure if you are limited to what you can spend the gift card on but it is only valid until 31st January 2010.

  • Might be better for you , if your 2 books are each over £10, or you only want one book, to use the £5 off vouchers posted here. On 2 books you still save £10, but it's cash and you can spend it how and when you like.:D.

    It's only a game

  • Not sure about using the £5 off voucher as the one I had expired on 25th, but I bought 2 books today and used the 20% voucher. Both books marked at £12.99, but one went through as £9.49. Along with a newspaper, I ended up paying £18 something, and got a £10 gift card, so grand total of £8 for both books instead of £30+ RRP!!!

    This is complicated
so you can use 20% and gift card = £6 for two £10 books
    you can't use 2 £5 vouchers and 20% off or gift card = £5 per £10 book
and from the terms on the £5 voucher you can't use 1, buy 2 books and get the gift card?

    Hello,

I have done this offer today - just come on to post it, so thanks to OP and everyone who are quicker than me :)

I also used the £5 off any book over £10 voucher (from their website) AND the 20% off everything (re-useable card) Plus got the £10 giftvoucher.

All in all I paid £24 for 3x Hardback books and got the giftvoucher which will be a Christmas present for Father in Law. (The 3rd hardback book wasnt in the offer, but was reduced).

All Childrens books are also 3 for 2 - in a seperate transaction I bought 3 Young Bond paperbacks, got cheapest for free (saving £6.99) and used the £5 off Kids books voucher (from their website) plus the 20% off everything re-useable card again, so got them all for £9.58.

Hi all. Excuse me for being slow on the uptake  but I went into WHS today but didn't see anything about £10 card back wyb 2 hardback books - has this been advertised elsewhere?
So if I buy 2 hardbacks I can use the £5 off valid til 1/11 and cashier will give me £10 gift card? Is that right???!!!

Does anyone know the rules on this? can you but one at £10 and one at £6, or both at £6. Is it still valid and is it on all hardbacks?
  • Only on selected hardbacks - in my store a whole stand. They can be any combination from that selection HTH :)
