I got some great deals on these items this week.
On Tuesday I got the roast beef and a strawberry cheesecake half price, and a tray of roast veg for just a £1 (less than half price)

Today I got 2 x chickens (one for me, and one for my parents) at £2 each (from £7.50) and half price choc pudding and apple crumbles - yummy!
Good job I went for a swim first with all that food!

Loads @ half price in the Portsmouth branch on Monday, my mum loved the chicken and the jelly terrine for desert, as well as the "crushed" carrot and swede which she said was really nice as it had a hint of nutmeg in it. :)
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

Loads of Oakwood chickens at the Gyle, Edinburgh today with a further 75% off. Also lots of other reduced items.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

I was walking past the M&S foodhall & noticed a scrum of ladies crashing trolleys and waving their arms...the chickens were £3 yesterday @ Cardiff Capital & causing great excitement.

DH managed to get one but was snarled at by a woman with 4 in her trolley
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
