  • I'm one of the stupid ones who believed that person who said it wasn't online - so mad, Went to bed at 11.30pm!!!

me too, and I dont have a sainsburys near me, so missed out, as everything that would have been of interest is now OOS :( Oh well I guess next time I'll check for myself rather than 'listen' to posts here!!
  • wigan had lots of toys at 10am - 5 more cages being put out too. don't forget to check the aisle ends around the store - they have the bigger toys on display there - mainly baby type toys. got loads of little transformers, and hot wheels cars. the store was pretty quiet too.

Went to Selby store just before 9am, was quiet but that store only had half an aisle of toys, and down one side only, so not a great choice.
    I did manage to get:
    * Fisher Price chatter telephone £2.49
    * Scooby Doo mystery machine vehicle £4.99
    * Polly Pocket wheels toy £1.49
    * Sainsburys bee keyboard friend £2.99
Also managed to get online and buy a Peppa Pig rocket, which my son has been wanting for a while and was still good value with delivery on top (everything else I'd have liked had sold out and don't need anything else really, trying to stick to a tight budget this year instead of going totally mad on toys like last year!)

Well I dont think anyone else is to blame for you 'listening' other than yourself........even if you had checked yourself through CS or store you may well have been told that it was not online by them, no one seemed to know and there was apparently a link to suggest by a member of Sainsburys staff on thier website that the sale would not be online.
People only post on here with what they think is helpful/true info so yes, you should have waited up like others!
There should be no blame on any posters who gave what they thought was true info!

apologies if already posted but I found a number of toys which were at half there sale price, although this was not stated.
eg. Pixar Cars Mack set £1.75, Tipping Tractors £2.00
    Lazytown figures and music £1.25 - 1.75
    Water slide, inflatables £1.75 - £2.50
    Sainsburys own baby toys £1

I think that these are between 10 and 20% of original prices
