As I've only just posted this, I want to say I can't believe how stressful it is to have that responsibility
I'm not bumping, so it's okay to post this
I am always grateful to catowen and cathy for posting the TV comps but never realised what it entailed.
Makes me appreciate them even more :A:A0 -

Multiple entry tip again:
Omit the obscured words first time to get an error, then you can enter 5 times without entering your data again, simply going back with your browser. If you don't throw the error first it clears the form each time.

6 Do you have any tips for the multiple entry comps (Like Real Deal or Golden Balls, etc)?
This doesn’t work all the time as the sites do seem a little temperamental, although I’d try it as it does save a lot of time & effort when it works.
If you type in all your details & make a mistake when typing in the 'Captcha' words, your details should be saved onto the form for you to enter again meaning you only have to put the new spam code in.
Experience has found that you can ignore any 2 letter words, any numbers & punctuation marks. If there is a word which is completely unreadable then type the other word as that is probably the word which will be checked.
Something else you can try to speed up the multi entry comps is to use the keyboard a little more, rather than using the mouse. Select the correct answer (A/B/C/D) with your mouse & complete your contact details before typing the text into the Captcha box. When you have correctly typed the text in Captcha, press these three keys in this order to submit your entry:- TAB (moves to the I Agree tickbox)
- SPACE (puts a tick in the I Agree tickbox)
- ENTER (submits the comp entry)
You can continue entering until the screen displays a warning message, usually in red, that you have exceeded the maximum number of entries. MSE Compers have won these comps in the past by entering until they get the message so don’t worry, you will not have disqualified yourself.
It is perfectly acceptable to put a mobile number into the phone number boxes, again MSE Compers have done this in the past & still won.
hth xxplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.

That's great - I had not read that part.
Thanks for the pointer, and apologies for re-inventing the wheel there - it saved me a few mins so I thought it might be useful to others.
Cheers
