Mondeo Verona drive shafts
I posted about this a while ago, and had hoped that with the drive shaft replaced, and two new CV boots, everything would be fine. Unfortunately over the last couple of months I have had to take the car back to the garage, because it has been vibrating badly, and it is possible to move the front offside wheel a little while the car is on the ground (slight knocking and play somewhere). The garage have checked everything out, and they could not find anything until today, when they finally managed to see what I was talking about.
They reckon that their supplier may have sent them the wrong drive shaft (there are quite a few different ones available), and that it may not allow the hub nut to be tightened properly.
Are there any mechanics out there who can shed any light on this problem, because it has been driving me mad for a while now.
Thanks ,
Andy.

Take it to a genuine Ford dealer.
They'll supply/fit the correct parts, usually obtaining the data direct from the registration number"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Sounds like the lower wishbones or the balljoint. Driveshafts rarely need replacing.
Usually need serious abuse to damage a shaft, CV joints do wear though.
Maybe they damaged the wheel bearings whilst replacing the CV joint boots?0
