Hi,
just a 'heads up' really to check your bill!
My latest one had a collections visit charge on it of some £28, I was pretty sure no one had been here so rang southern electric, initially they said someone had been, I argued it, then they said it was because I had defaulted on the payment plan so the charge would stand, I had defaulted but had spoken to them 2 weeks before this apparent visit and re-arranged payment plan, still said charge would stand, I persisted, got through to someone higher, still saying visit had been made so I asked for date and time, on hold for some time but then turns out, no visit had actually been made, only a request for one, yet the charge still went on my bill even though the visit had not taken place.
I'm happy to say that they have reversed the charge but it took a long call and much persistance!
