But You have to sign up for to pay £2 a month with BG to get the £99 quid. So you can add £24 to the price.

They charge more now and in certain regions too. I had BG out £169 i think it was. Friend had them out (2 miles away) and it was £196 (ish)!

    Thats some petrol money!

    Part of the Furniture
Footies fan i think your talking about their priority response service.
See here...the first of the two is £99 ..no contract and no mention of £2 a month.
Either way , npower or BG, it may work out cheaper to go with your local heating engineer in the long run..especially if it's a small repair! These fixed repair deals must work by financing the bigger repairs by the smaller repairs they are overcharging on! Fine if your repair falls into the bigger repair category then you've made a saving. Though be wary, British Gas for example like to tell you parts aren't available then try and fleece you for an extortionately priced new boiler! Not that i'm cynical or anything :)

BG is indeed £169 for one-off. Is £130 if you pay £2/month.

Boiler is presently kaput, would happily pay the £95 but can't find the offer??
