DFS and Santander ppi issues...anyone else

Hi, is anyone else having issues, tryed to reclaim money from DFS the loan was with santander who after having a stage 1 letter sent replied telling me issue was with DFS. So i sent another stage 1 letter to DFS who called the following day and basically told me that i was wrong and i had not been misold. So followed Martins:money:advise and sent them a stage 2 letter but added i was unhappy with not having a written reply. Again DFS replyied by phone call and told me that they would as a gesture of good will repay my ppi amount £425 this was a result. Wrong all i had to do was send a statement of payment because Santander would not give DFS any details. So i sent a copy of the loan agreement..which was paid in full 2 years ago and awaited my check.

Again DFS rang and told me they needed statement of payment....which i dont have. This morning i called Santander and asked for a statement of payment, only to be told they have no one to do it has to be done manually. The women told me that in the last 14 days alot of complants have come in over DFS.

Are there any other money savers getting passed between the two companys.

Martin i dout you read all the forums but maybe if you read this you could investigate this issue??

    I would give the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) a ring, and tell them what have happened here, and see if they can suggest something for you.
