How strange! Wouldn't she just be better off avoiding the issue for the sake of her own sales? Anything like that, written in bold capitals, makes me think that I would be scared of getting on the wrong side of her... so bargain or no bargain I would not bid.

Why would she send them out seperately??

Mmm, that means if she is buying them off someone else to sell, she should be declaring it to inland revenue !!

That sounds like dropshipping to me.

I bought a pair of headphones from Ebay once. They were based in Cardiff, so I assumed I could pick them up to save the postage. Even better, when I won them, the address was in my village, so not even a bus ride to collect.

But they wouldn't allow me to pick them up because they went directly from the warehouse!

I was a bit miffed, but taught me to ask questions before bidding.

I sent an email to the seller welcoming her to eBay selling (the account is new this month...), pointing out the 7 day payment and politely pointing out that the HUGE postage discount warning in their auctions might be off-putting to some buyers. I got this response:
firstly i am not new to ebay and if i insist payment be made withing 3 days that is my choice and i think you will need to read it again your self and i think you will find that it states a buyer has seven days before the seller can open an unpaid item distpute and it is my policy that payment must be recieved withing 3 days not 7 which i think you will find i have the choice to do secondly i dont give a postage discount its as simple as that i dont need to my items are cheaper than any ones i sell what people whant and some items what other sellers dont have i also supply most of the ebay sellers SO I CAN CONTROL WHAT THEY BUY AND SELL OF THESE ITEMS if you would like there ebay id names you are welcome to check for yourself so thank you so much for your message BUT I DO KNOW THE RULES i think you may need to read them again and i think you will find i can report you for sending malicius messages thank you richard also known as RICH01CARS

This eBayer doesn't seem very experienced with eBay at all. It seems a little odd that no postage discounts are offered. I would definately be put off buying from this seller. She comes across as quite ruthless.

This seller mentions that she will not accept e-cheques, can a seller actually refuse e-cheques if you have the 'I accept PayPal' logo on auctions?

i have just sent this about the scrub she is selling
    Hi
    How are you today?
I am looking at buying about 10 items off you are you able to offer a discount on the products? as i see you don't on the postage. Also can you list the details from the back label of the scrub? as i would like to see what is in it.
    Kind regards
    Wayne
