How long do I have to put crossed postal order into my bank account?

I have a crossed postal order which I know has to go into my bank account.
Could anyone please tell me how long I have to take it to the bank? As it has a date on the top, after so long do I have before it becomes void?
Thanks

The RM website is about as helpful as the paypal help pages ( ie a chocolate tea pot), a simple search brings up everything other than the thing you are looking for!

Lol you're not wrong, searching for postal orders on the PO website brought up a total of zero results.

Found THIS link on Google and item 5 sort of gives the answer
