Anyone have a Diplomat oven with a manual timer?

I really need some help! This electric fan oven is in our rented flat, there's no manual and the landlady lives in Australia and isn't very helpful (but we really like it here and rent is reasonable so we just keep out heads down!).

The timer (or some other problem) means the oven keeps switching off when it's on high (today in the middle of doing the roast potatoes ).

All we need to know is how the timer works...it has a manual clock face, grey short and long hands (as in a normal clock) plus a red hand and a yellow hand. There are two round small knobs, one above the other.

I think this is an MFI oven, a Diplomat 610 (afraid I don't know the model number).
