some months ago, i bought a couple of domain names which i use to forward to my business website,
with the domain names came e-mail fwding so that any e-mails sent to the domain name are fwd'd to my personal email address,
i am now getting emails from a company offering to advertising my website
however looking at the email they come from my domain
eg
from sales@???????.org.uk
to sales@???????.org.uk
the company that are wanting me to advertise with is http://www.broadcastemailcorporation.org
they are a company in the states,
i dont want to add email or spam filtering to my pacakage as it suits my needs.
any advice thanks
Lee

The spammers have picked up your web email address and are now using it in the FROM field of their spam emails to disguise their identity. The next step they will try is to spam others on their list forging your address in the FROM field. When this happens, expect about 40 emails a day coming to you as people bounce the emails mistakenly thinking its going back to the spammer. That's what's happening to me.
You will need a spam filter like Mailwasher. I wish there was a way to stop all this stuff.0 -
Thunderbird has a good filter built in, loads of options with it. Once it learns what you need/dont need its so simpkle and quick....
I have all my spam go directly into a folder called 'BAB'0
