The Classic Collection is sold in Thorntons (different boxes, though, I think) - it's also half price from them.

Related question: the Chocoholic's Hamper now available for £20 worth of Clubcard vouchers doesn't seem to be the same hamper as the one that's advertised on the Thornton's website as the Chocoholic's Hamper.

    Tesco Clubcard Deals: http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/product.aspx?R=1094&bci=4294964775|Indulgence*4294964774|Thorntons
    Thornton's Website: http://www.thorntons.co.uk/p/Hampers%20And%20Gift%20Boxes_Chocolate%20And%20Toffee%20Hampers/8401.html

Am I missing something or are they actually two significantly different hampers with the one on the Thorntons website offering more products for a very reasonable sale price?

Just done a quick comparison betwen the two, and it looks as though there are 2 things in the Tesco version that aren't in the Thorntons one, but SEVEN things in the Thorntons site one that aren't in the Tesco one!! So by getting it direct from Thorntons you're getting five more items overall. Also it looks as though their sizes are slightly bigger than the Tesco ones. Seeing as you could buy from Thorntons at £38, I wouldn't waste £20 worth of CC vouchers on the Tesco one, would prefer to use them for £60 worth of restaurant tokens or even double up and get £40 worth of Christmas toys!!!

Well, exactly. I called Tesco Clubcard customer services and they seemed surprised that there were two identically-named hampers with such a difference between them.

I've emailed Thornton's for clarification, but you're absolutely right - there's no way I'm wasting £20 of Clubcard vouchers on a hamper that's got so little in it. I also pointed out to the Clubcard person that the picture to the left of the description on the CC deals site has far more items than the description suggests! The only way I will be spending my Clubcard vouchers on this deal is if it turns out that it is actually meant to be the same product that's currently selling for £38 (reduced from £50) on the Thornton's website - and somehow I don't hold out much hope of that. But it can't hurt to ask.
