We've got an empty Lloyds TSB credit card with a £6K limit - should we close it or hang onto it in hope of a 0% balance transfer deal?

IME the best your likely to get from Lloyds TSB in the current climate is 6 (possibly 9) months at 0% with a 3% fee.
If this could work for you, then I would keep the card and contact retentions for some negotiation.0 -
May I ask which other credit cards - besides LloydsTSB - you have at the mo?People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0

Yeah keep it if it's an old card (looks good on your file) they always offer you some kind of offer if you don't use for a couple of months.0

we've got 2 x halifax at 0% ending March, 1 x MBNA at 0% ending Jan, 2 x HSBC, one at 0% ending July, one at 19.9%. Ideally we'd like to transfer the MBNA and HSBC to it in Jan.0

LTSB told me* this summer that they always put their best offers in your online secure area. Anything showing there?
* As I was closing the card down! The "0% for 6 months with a 3% fee" offer that had been in my online secure area for just over 12 months didn't work for me.0 -
good tip! Will have a look.0
