Private Parking Ticket at Comet wheelchair

Hello
I am a black cabby London taxi driver. I work locally and I went to go pick up a disabled passenger inside Comet. My black cabs has doors which open wide out and a ramp falls out for the disbaled wheelchair so I parked outside comets front entrance as the other parking bays are too small for a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
I came outside 5 mins later to find a parking ticket, the guy also took a photo on the ticket to show my illegal parking.
I feel I ahve been ripped off, is there anything I can do. e.g classify as loading or unloading etc.
any help be great

Indeed there is something you can do.
You can read the sticky on the front of this board, and you can read the hundreds of other threads on this board about private parking invoices, and then hopefully, you will be equipped to deal with it.0 -
You have not parked illegally because you have not broken any law. All you have done is "broken" the unenforceable rules laid down by the land-owner. They would have to take you to the civil court and prove that they have suffered an actual material loss. In this case there was no loss and therefore nothing to pay. Just ignore any further correspondence from them. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Tell all your associates about Private Parking Companies and the 'basis' of their tickets.0

The registered keeper of the cab is about to be bombarded with a load of toilet paper, thinly disguised as unenforceable demands for money and threats of legal action that will never take place.
If you're not the RK, it's probably as well to let whoever is know.
Either way, all correspondance from the parking company and their debt-collecting goons should be ignored.0
