Bank of Scotland Loan (s)

Hi
I am currently paying back a £3000 loan and previously paid back a £3000 in full.
Both loans i wasn't made aware that PPI could be purchased elsewhere, either I insured my loan through the bank or it wasn't insured.
Do I have a claim and if so what would be the best steps to take ?
Thanks

Hi Wolfes - BOS are pretty fair when paying back PPi - was yours a single premium?
Read the reclaim 1000's bit on reclaiming PPi & use the template letter as a guide to write your own letter in your own words.
Myself & many others on this forum have been succesful with BOS
Good luck0 -

Hello and welcome.
I agree with Finatra and would give it a go, by trying to reclaim back on the PPI and interest etc.
Write to them with your reasons you have, you can also check on the link below with useful info and templates, they have 8 weeks to respond in full.
Keep at them, in the final decision they should also enclose details of the financial ombudsman service, (FOS), you can take your complaint to these if your not happy with the outcome of your complaint.

Im not sure if my first loan was single premium or my loan i am currently paying off but when i phoned them this week to ask for the monthly PPI payments i was told he couldnt give me that as it was a fixed amout added onto the loan ????
Also I cant remember if i was told about the interest on the PPI on my current loan....
How should i go about this ?
