Cheap Software

For all students (and education staff) who use Macromedia software (or would like to), there is a website that is offering Macromedia Studio (including Dreamweaver and Flash Pro) for a hugely low price of £75, plus postage (taking it to around £86). This is against the Adobe website where you can buy it for $299 (around £160).
The only provisor is that you are within an educational institution and can provide proof (photocopy of an ID card, or a letter from your institution). There's some admin to go through with Macromedia themselves (that deals with the proof via a faxable/e-mailable form), but apparently the turnaround is about 7 days maximum.
Oh, lastly, you have to get a "coupon" number to signup to the website, but apparently it is very easy to do so - just a phone-call or an e-mail requesting one should do it.
The direct link to the product is: http://rols.ramesys.com/product1.aspx?Product_ID=875&Category_ID=151
The root of the website is therefore https://www.ramesys.com - they sell other software as well, but I haven't looked at that, so can't tell you whether there are the same savings. The price above is from an apparent "Special Offer" so it may not last very long.
This information comes from someone who was recommended to it by their school.

Your URL links to Adobe software (Adobe Studio 8).
Not Macromedia.0 -
Sorry, yeah - Abode owns Macromedia, and so I got confused somewhere along the way! Same difference though.
