Can i pay of HP with Credit card?

Is this possible as i want to pay off a car loan(HP) by transfering it to a 0% credit card.
I thought i read somewhere you can't pay off debt with credit?

might be able to but i think they will charge you a percentage for the transaction mayeb someone will be alomng who can answer that one.0

in general you can't pay off a loan with a credit card
however some credit cards e.g. MBNA stable allow you to BT to your currrent a/c and hence you can use the money to clear the debt.
so if
-you can get a suitable card with a 0% BT offer
-with a sufficient credit limit
-and you have a plan for when the 0% deal runs out and starting charging 25-30%
then it may be a goer.
but do the maths first0
