in Credit cards
Hi,
My wife has Halifax & BOS Current Account and last month there was an offer on the website saying "Guaranteed Approval" for a Credit Card. She applied for Halifax one and received it.
She then went and applied for BOS All ine One Card. She received letter from BOS 30/09/09 saying it has been rejected because the current facilities she has with HBOS is the maximum they can offer at the present time.
Now today she received a letter saying your recently application has been approved and card is waiting to be dispatched on arrival of signed documents. The reference number on the letter dated 30/09 and application no on the signature form is exactly the same.
Confused - Have they approved the application now?

If you still want it, sign it send it back and see what happens. It would seem they have changed their mind for some reason. I know Halifax is a trading name of Bank of Scotland, I do not know what the policy is on having both cards as they are essentially the same product.0
