Sony Card capped at £50 ?

Just having a look at the Sony card which is 0% for 9 months.

The main page says "We will charge a handling fee for each balance transfer of 2% of the amount transferred, and will charge a handling fee for each cheque transaction of 2% of the transaction amount (minimum £3, maximum £50 per transfer or cheque)."

So that's saying the BT fee is capped at £50, but if you click the apply button the details just say:

"2% handling fee (min.£3) on: credit card cheques and balance transfers."

with no mention of an upper limit.

Anyone know if the Sony card IS capped?

think it means that the maximum they will charge you for BT is £50


i.e BT a million quid to them, and the balance is 1000050

The Halifax One card is capped at £50 but only if you apply by phone... dont know about sony - phone them.
