Hi All
I have sold an item on second chance as I had 2 of item, and customer said she has tried to pay me but my paypal is not set up to take direct bank transfer. How do I do this? have had a search on the paypal site but can't find what to do.
Thanks

I don't know for sure, but I always thought you could only pay through another Paypal account, and that account could be funded from a bank account, surely if payment is by bank transfer it would be between banks.
Maybe someone will come on here and say I'm wrong, but would be very surprised if you could pay directly from a bank account without using Paypal to pay with. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
As far as I am aware you cannot pay into another persons paypal account by bank transfer. They need a paypal account to pay into your paypal account.
I wonder if her paypal account is not allowing her to make the payment from her bank account as it is going through it's authorisation check which they do after so many transactions. It can take up to a week to complete.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

I think you need a Pro Merchant account to do that (and that costs money) A normal premier account can only accept Card payments and normal paypal transactions as far as I understand it.0

Thanks I think she is trying to pay by pay pal funded by her bank account is there anything I need to do? or is it just that she has to wait for funds to go into account.0

That's all down to her - you just have to sit and wait for the money!
She's probably playing for time till she has the money in her account - not that far from the end of the month! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Does your Paypal account say verified now. You should be able to see that on the main account page. Have you changed bank accounts? As its a direct debit if set up and funds there your bank should not refuse it. If you have online banking you can check if the DD is set up. If not you may have to phone or go in to find out.0 -
yeah its verified ages ago and been used in the past. i tried to transfer some money from the bank to paypal and it refused (after about a week)
