Dont know if anyone has had this before - I recieved a PCN in london and upon checking , I found that the warden has entered one digit wrong on the ticket from what my car plate is .Can I appeal on the strength of this?

I find it unfair anyway , as I had parked and went to get some change in the shop for the meter.

Why appeal. They cannot send you any paperwork if they have the wrong reg.

Errrr no ! DO NOT APPEAL, even though it is a genuine ticket the details are wrong therefore invalid, therefore no need to contact them, you cant be traced either as the wrong details are on the reg mark , all it means is some unlucky !!!!!! is gonna get a ticket instead for something they dont know about ! doh !!

Well within their rights to issue a ticket im afraid, ceo's wardens etc are under no obligation to give you time to get change, unless the bay markings were wrong or there was some fault in the ticket you would most probably fail an appeal.

The erroneous VRN is fatal to the PCN.
    No appeal needed or possible.
