Try going into your printing properties (Not suure where that is for a lexmark, but your manual should tell you) and see if there is an option to charge the ink, It may be that because your printer is new, there may not be enough ink going through the heads yet.
If there isn't a charge option, then try a head clean, as this should charge the ink too.0 -
1)Clean Print Head
2)Get a tissue and clean inside the printer ONLY if there is any spilt ink
3)Print a test page
Any Beter if no:
4)Check printer settings ie Paper type, fast/best quality.
5) Check there is enough ink in the cartridge
Any Better? if no
6)align print heads
7)Print test page
If its sti;l not better i dont know what is wrong.:rotfl: :j :T :bdaycake: :xmastree: :bdaycake: :T :j :rotfl:0 -
If you have tried everything frestuffwooo recommended and you still have vertical lines running through your prints, then it would appear that your print heads are damaged0

If the printer is new and its printing lines, i would take it back and get a diffrent one, surly its the first sign that the printer is faulty or not very well made
Thanks Tom :-)0
