BT "Phonebox" plan ?

Hi

I am looking at changing my landline as I currently don't often have the phone itself pluged in unless I make outgoing calls. Mainly to avoid creditors. However we need the router pluged into the landline for internet access obviously.

I am paying around £16.50 a month for calls and line rental. Line rental is £11 a month and I am currently with Tesco for line and phone.

I cant remember where but I recall hearing about a scheme that BT do similar to the top up pay as you go for mobiles so its almost pre-pay like a phone box. Cant remember the proper name or if it actualy exists :o

Can anyone help with the name and info please ?

For comparison I pay
£11.00 line rental plus calls (Tesco 'anytime').
£14.16 a month for Broadband with Tesco (unlimited).
£22.00 for Sky TV
£10.00 for multiroom
I pay £10 a month to top up my mobile (Tesco), I text most of the time and very rarely call.

Is there a cheaper 'all in' like for like package? Or is there a cheaper way separately?

I dont live in a cable area so cant get Virgin only Sky.
I am subscribed to the minimum package for Sky that allow us to have the channels we watch most oftern.
We have Multiroom as we watch different channels in the evenings as we have different tastes!
We are currently with Tesco as we use the vouchers towards extra food or gifts throught the year.

Thanks for any help.

:)

    Thanks

O2 @ £7.34 only applies if you can get it LLU on your exchange though, and includes the £5 mobile discount (the OP is on Tesco mobile).
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
