we had conifurs in the garden taht we had felled, a while back, these dont burn very well, they 'spit' alot iykwim.... plus there is no heat from them..
we burn old pallets etc... for a few hours in the evening....Work to live= not live to work0 -

Yes, I think I may have said before, we have willows and many of them will be coming down this winter, to be replaced with something like ash & birch. They aren't great burners, but the up-side is that they're easily cut.
Meanwhile, tidying the place is keeping the woodburner going!:D0
