ebay item refund

Just a quick one if i may

sold an item on ebay made a bit of an error the item discription said top was size medium however it an XL (human error)

offered full refund however just went to do this and noticed that their payment is on hold to the 6th of nov, so do i refund now as it it showing in paypal or do i wait for the money to clear completly before refunding just incase they recall the payment therefore getting 2 payments refunded??

If you have sent it then don't refund.

If you haven't you can refund and send an email explaining.

Have you actually posted the item yet?
If not email them telling them how sorry you are and how it was your mistake etc. Then tell them as the payment has not yet cleared you will refund it at such time as it does clear through paypal.

No not sent item luckly noticed as i was packing the item i have sent them an email saying how sorry i am and offered the full refund they did not seem to happy oops was a genuine mistake.

I will let them know as now as soon as the money is cleared fully i will send the refund
