Does anyone belong to WebView (part of ShopandScan)?

I have been invited too, and always a little wary of these things. As i am a little thick, could clearing your cookies all the time stop them from monitoring if you wanted to?

ive downloaded the software too but to be honest i think 500 points is a bit mean for a whole week of them being able to view your surfing history. Plus the fact i am paranoid about finding viruses and tracking cookies on my computer this is like rolling over and letting all and sundry into my computer.

I dont know what i am going to do yet.

i agree. it keeps causing my internet to switch off too, so i unistalled it today!

I had no problems installing the Shop and Scan WebView but uninstalled it pending obtaining more information vis a vis security. Even assuming that the system doesn't in itself leave my banking information, passwords etc vulnerable, how long will it be before hackers can get into the act and use WebView for that purpose? Since I get 500 points just for scanning one till receipt the same number for permitting a month's web activity to be monitored seems rather maen

Security wise TNS are a huge company and I do expect them to take it very seriously.
Whether you want them to know youre browsing history is youre concern!

Something very similar was offered on the Valued Opinions site not too long ago. People complained of the software slowing down their computers immensely. I'm leaving this one alone.
