Hope it's ok for me to post this here. I have been sent an invitation to join WebView by TNS ShopandScan. Clicking on the WebView takes me to a TNS page which explains about WebView.
I can't find any other information by Googling and don't know whether to go ahead with it or not.
By downloading their small piece of software, it gives them information about internet usage. They say it cannot collection any information over secure connections, so you can still use online banking etc.
Does anyone else belong to WebView?
I would be very grateful for any info, I'm not sure what to do.
Many thanks.

Hmm, I've got Vista too.
Are you at all worried about taking part, from the point of security?Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
Nah not really, if it was a company I hadnt heard of I would have stayed away but as its TNS and I have oodles and oodles of little things involving them in one form or another (Shop and Scan, Petrol Purchases, Mystery Shopping etc) I dont give any of their requests a second thought0

Petrol Purchases? I've never heard of that one.
I will try and install it later then, are you still having problems?Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0 -
Yeah but will have another go this evening - I was sent invitations to join 2 more TNS panels - one was Petrol Purchases where I upload all of my petrol purchase details every week. I also got one for Consumer Pulse which was for uploading barcodes (I think) of luxury items - but it was a tricky one to do so gave up on it.0

Good luck, hope you manage to get it done.Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!0

I think its browsing history, its very woolly on the information it records, if you read the invite it doesn't really say.
Only seems to be working in Internet Explorer here for me, which tbh I don't do much browsing in!0 -
it seems to be working OK now..lets see how it goes!0
