Honeymoon too Thailand & Austrailia

Hi

Myself and my fiancee are trying to book our honeymoon over the next month or so, and really need some help on where to go, and thought someone might be able to give us soom help.

We have considered going to Thailand (Koh Somui) for a week and then on to Austrailia for a further 2 weeks.

Do you think this is achievable or too much travelling?

Our budget will be around £3k - £3.5k (max).

We would be leaving at the end of July 2007, flying from any Scottish Airport.

And would like the holiday to be fairly relaxed with really good accomm 4* +, preferably near beaches.

We have contacted STA travel and looked at some other web sites for hotels and the cheapest quote for flights only was £900/each, with accomm ranging from £250/person - £125/room.

Any ideas??

Hi, we are flying to Perth via dubai and out of brisbane stopping singapore on 30/12/06 with emirates(not the cheapest airline but excellent service) from glasgow for £780.So your quote is high, around 11 months before was the perfect time to get flights so perhaps a little early yet for you. I have a RBS royalties gold and booked through them but trailfinders were competitive on price. IMHO i'd go to OZ first and Thailand on the way back, breaks the travelling down on the way home and chill at beach after sight seeing in OZ or like us you could do a few extra nights in dubai on way out. You will only pay for hotel as stopover incurs no extra charge with emirates.
