I thanked her for her witty post.
It made me smile the way she plays with her "toys". :j

Ah well, small things I suppose
a puppet? I think you should look in the mirror, who's the one following her cult leader? even when she's been proven to be a liar, oh that would be you, LOL
OP havn't heard of that fish being served up in Scotland but really don't like the sound of it, think I'll stick to haddock0 -
This fish is very white but totally lacks flavour. Regardless of the safety or ethics it's worth avoiding for this alone!0

apparently normally it is a greyish colour so it is 'bleached' to be whiteI

Er if the fish is being imported doesn't it have to be tested to meet standards? Specially as the Food Standards guys have cracked down a lot more on things surrounding contaminants** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

I get weird looks for enjoying catfish (haven't seen it sold in UK, though...I just tend to get it when in the USA)...can't speak for the type of fish OP's talking about, but the taste/quality of catfish varies depending on where/how it's been farmed, and boy is it a noticeable difference!
That and catfish are essentially "bottom feeders"....kinda like the vultures of the fish world, but still cheap and tasty, assuming you find a decent fillet.0 -
As my name suggests I do quite a lot of sea fishing and would never buy farmed fish, they are fed all sorts of rubbish.
I prefer cod, pollack, mackerel etc straight from the wreck into the oven.
Gurnard are also in UK waters and are nicknamed the chicken of the sea, extremely nice to eat when fresh0
