Hope it's going well this morning lynz and that you get the interview at work.

Congrats on the rural cottage, sounds lovely. Very pleased you're feeling better too.

What do you mean, your buyers aren't who the say they are?!! Tell us more. Sounds intriguing!

Hope you get the job you applied for at work and glad that it's all working out for you.

Hi Lynz, just wondered if there was any progress with the sale of your flat?

    Awww thanks Snaggles :D

I was thinking I might have to update this, but sadly Ive been dangling in limboland for a while now :o so havent really felt theres much to update.

Ok, flat sale apparently moves on apace. We were hoped to have moved by now, but alas its not to be ( does it ever run smoothly) Im going to hassle my solicitor today ( for a change!) and get on trhier case. We havent realy packed or anytihng nor booked trhe van but we have put a holding deposit on somewhere new to live which is lovely :j

Job wise, well I have to retuirn to the job centre to sign back on again tomorrow. After advice from the union I decided not to resign and continue ot persevere with my employer for the time being. I was grumbling about it to a mate yesterday and lo and behold a phone call comes, works Occ health want to meet me to see if I can take the "stress" of the new job which I applied for well over a month ago. So I have to go see them on Friday. With that in mind I hope, hope that i will be interviewed for the job, and if I get it then sweet. If not then more evidence for my case. Either way, they are both positive outcomes ( looking at the sunny side)

Cash wise things are not great at all.Im using borrowed money again ( extended od by 200 quid and using the last dregs of my savings. Not great, need to be earning asap, but in limbo.

dont want to start the new year like this really - but Im going by the advice that Im being given

*off to hassle the sols yet again!*

Thanks for the update, I spotted you on another thread and thought I would [STRIKE]check up on you[/STRIKE] see how you are! :D

It must be hard going feeling that you are in limbo, with both the job and the house move, you sound like you are managing to stay positive on both fronts, and I'm sure things will come together soon for you.

Don't forget, the new debt you have taken on is for a specific purpose, you are NOT slipping backwards - if you were, you would be out running up your credit cards on Christmas presents and new clothes.

Hope your health is holding up and the stress of it all isn't getting to you. Do take care and good luck with the job.

And re your solicitors, at least you're not with these guys (have a look at the company name lol)!

Ok, this is the start of the second wind- I hope.

I thought Id update this, and give myself a royal kick up the you know where, as I have been spending money I havent got for months and Im not happy.

    These are my resolutions
    1. get out of debt
    2. work as hard as I can
    3. smile more :)
    4. be more organised
    5. learn how to budget properly - Im shamed to say I didnt get a handle on it last year.
    6. do excercise daily, even it its 10 mins of a video or a bit of skipping, this MUST be done
    7. buy an address book, get peoples nos & keep in touch properly.
    8. no spending unneccerly :A

    Here what needs to happen.

    BANK CHARGES
Ive got 2 more outstanding. One with the barclaycard which it looks like I have to sue for failiure unrder the DPa first.
Must check with others about what damages they are going for.
second with Ltsb mastercard, I think this is around the 500 mark, but will need money to pay the courts- dont have it, but this is on my list of things to do.

    FLAT SALE
Update is I have to try and keep all balls in the air. The sale seems to be going through, my buyer is still keen, but our solicitors seem to be a bit rubbish.
Need to try and speak to my sols at 9 this am- are they back today  Do I need to write a cheque for 150
I have to try to convince letting agent not to give the rented house away otherwise we lose 300 and the house we dont want to do.
Removals quote gained, OH needs to scrounge more boxes. We are half packed.

    W**K

the situation is now at breaking point, and I am no longer willing to tolerate it. I need a new start and this is it.

My employer turned me down for a admin job on the basis that "I was not fit fto work with the general public" according to the occupational health dr.
I have repeatedly requested my reports from HR, they have not provided them since April of last year.
I saw the occ health dr befroe Xmas nad she told me she had never said Im unfit to work and showed me letters saying "I see no reason why lynzpower should not be working with the public and she should return to work asap"
So now I have proof that HR have lied to me.

I need to take some final leal advice today. My union bod is off, however, I am going to try to get hold of the manager or someone else who can confirm I ca resign as I wish to do so today.

    PROSPECTS
I need to apply to AQA this time ( unless Ive missed it again!)
I have a part time self employed thing Im going to apply for which is equivalent to 15 an hour ( own tax paid, homeworking breaks I think) Must complete app today.
Im basically going to hit the streets and look for work tomorrow, round the agencies with my CV and ready for those typing tests.
I have something else in the fire to consider, which is more of a long term business thing. Need to think about that when the wolf is from the door.

Basically, I want to be debt free by the end of march when hopefully we will have sold the flat, invested that somewhere clever and we are going on a long deserved holiday. However, the next few months are TURBO. Im spending nothing, an aim to make as much as is physically possible.

I hope you guys will be seeing much less of me over the next few motnhs, as Im hopefully going to be working about a million jobs.

    SOA, BUDGETING, HELP NEEDED
Is it worth doing a new SOA now while I earn nada? Or what?
The other thing is that we are moving ( no honest we are) so our suppliers and what not will change this land of limbo thing is really annoying and Im finding it hard to plan .Shall we move suppliers now? there seems little point etc? HELP!

Anyway, this is my update. Please help!!

    Lynz xx

well today has been pretty productive thus far.

    I have
    a) sent in a formal complaint to the head of HR over the discrimination Ive been subject to
    b) Applied for some part time freelance work and I have an interview on Friday :j :j
    c) sent one book, but couldnt find any brown paper for the others

    Ill get there
