Occ Health were meant to send my GP a form, they havent done it a month on, and I cant speak to anyone to tell them to send it. the emails Ive sent keep bouncing back

Whenever you have problems communicating with an official organisation - they don't remember to phone you back, the boss has been on a half-day for the past year etc - then send a letter by recorded delivery. You will then receive a letter back swiftly with a date that's before your letter, and that bears no relation to the postmark in a sort of we-think-you're-too-stupid-to-know-that-we-would-falsify-the-date-on-our-letters kind of way.

It only costs a little, but cuts months off waiting times.

Hi Lynz, i hope things will look up for you soon. At least winter's coming so you wont be so hot. Does your doctor know why youre getting these faint spells? Are you anaemic or something like that? I think its good youre giving up the fags as they do cause no end of health problems. It takes a while but just giving up smoking will improve your health more than you realilse. My OH gave up smoking 30 years ago and has never regretted it. Have you thought of trying to take up yoga or pilates? If you started very gently it might help. Youve probably been weakened by months of staying at home and it has made you physically weak. Things are looking good for me at the moment. I hated my teaching assistant job but I now have a new job still in the same school. I do all the student data input now and also work as secretary to the Child Protection Manager. Its much more interesting and demanding. We had a lovely day out as a family on Sunday. We went to Whitstable and went to a pub on the beach. The weather was really warm. It was our only day out this year and I felt terrible because we took £90 out of the cash machine and we couldnt afford to do that but I buttoned my lip for once as we have not had one outing this year and so I could hardly begrudge it to my OH, whose idea it was. Luckily, we only spent £30 but the damage has been done because the money is out of the account now and we need it for the mortgage and cc bills etc. The debt repayment is going slowly but steadily, down to £16,500 now. I dont know how you manage it, you have hardly any income but your debt is still going down impressively. This house is a bit of a tip. Because its so old fashioned ive kind of let it get very untidy. the kitchen is kept very clean but the rest is a mess. The living room floor hasnt been vacuumed for 2 weeks as i never got round to it at the weekend and i never do housework in the evenings. DD is still home, her ankles are still very swollen and its worrying. We hardly walked any distance on sunday and they swelled up again. she starts uni in a week and a bit and has to walk every day. dont know what shes going to do. DS has started college. Hope he does well this year. Im glad youre getting your flat sorted out ahead of schedule. Although things are depressing at the moment, once your move has taken place you will be better off financially. Couldnt you move closer to where you work? Or maybe move out of London where you can be more relaxed. Good luck with your treatment. Got to go now. Love Tes xx

thanks tes, it always is lovely to hear your news

Im too hot and cant sleep, so i thought, sod it ill get up & enter some comps.

Shame about DD. Maybe missing the first week back and all that socailising may make her think twice about getting so literally legless  maybe indeed, she will probably be gutted if shes anything like i was at uni. Lesson learned ;)

I darent even tell you about my flat, it is a thorough bin, which has partly been getting me down. I love order, however, i doesnt really happen for me. Anyhow, hopefully, we will have finished the falt by the end of the weekend, then I will be getting the estate agents round.I think this has been doing my head in as well as I 1st started talking about selling the falt in MArch. Here i am barely anywhere near. Never mind. we will get there. I jsut cant bear the upheaval

Really chuffed about your new job  Congratulations :D Gotta be good getting you away from all those rat-bag kids. Im so chuffed for you. Is this more hours?

Take your point about Yoga, the only one locally I found a while ago when i looked was 50 for 7 sessions, which I thought was expensive. Maybe Ill look again, or maybe ask the gp if theres any fitness type schemes for free next time I go back to him.

hows that son of yours going??

Have you tried local buddhist centre for yoga? Mine does yoga and tai chi, was about twenty quid for 12 weeks, some of which was waived if you were unemployed. They did make me try and meditatate at the end which I never got the hang of, mind, but it may be your thing (or a nice snooze).

Hi Lynz - how are you angel?
Just a thought (I will keep having them - can't help myself!) that if you see GP he can refer you to a physio & they use a gym at the hospital. As well as yoga, look into Tai Chi as that's also gentle but has many benefits I'm told.
    Best wishes Linz

Hi lynz, sorry to hear you had a bad nights sleep, how you doing today hon?

Re the yoga, check out events at your local hall or look out for classes advertised in your local rag. these are normally the cheapest.

Have a great day and good luck with the crosswords/quizwords/wordsearches etc!!

Keep going, if you think yoga will do you some good. Alternatively how about contacting your library and seeing if they or a friend can drop you round a yoga video? I know my library have a video service. Yoga for free, yay!!

    Hey Lynz

You should definitely look into matched betting (on the gambling introductory offers forum) it might help cushion the blow on the wages front. I'm still struggling a bit tbh, but the people there are really great, cool with asking questions and stuff.

Donglemouse bagged an impressive £18,000 within a year! Which is a lot more than I ever get paid  so it might go some way to supplementing your earnings a little, and you can do it all at home in front of the computer...
