hey lynz, come on wheres that fighting spirit gone?

Will work allow you to work from home?

Is there a possibility of you getting some other work from home on your computer on something.
Have your work got a valid reason why they won't let you come back and is there anyway you can fight that through Unison or something? if they won't let you come back and you are fit enough to they surely have an obligation to keep paying you.
Sorry, they're not questions that you need to answer just trying to give you a pointer or two.

Best wishes and lots of hugs

thanks pania. these are exactly the sort of things that Ive been trying

can I work from home NO
can I work from a different office so that OH can get me there ie so I dont have to use transport on my own NO
can I be redeployed NO, we will drag this out for months spo that by the time we will have this meeting you will be on nil pay and thus you will probably resign
Occ Health were meant to send my GP a form, they havent done it a month on, and I cant speak to anyone to tell them to send it. the emails Ive sent keep bouncing back
Its so infuriating, cos Im doing all I can and Im getting absolutely sodding nowhere.
Unison trying thier best, getting thwarted but then from what Ive heard they are not up on the law as the DRC told me something completely different to what theyve been doing for months. Yes the DRC have offered me some good advice, but this is no use as I cant get hold of ACAS.

I dont want to bloody fight any more
I just want a normal life of going to work, coming home and earning proper money. I want to be able to afford taxis back from the hospital again. I want to be able to say, you know what, If I go for a walk, Ive got a fiver i my purse to get a cab if I come over all faint. At the moment im housebound, I dont have that safety net of being able to get about. I have lost my independence, and thats the worst of it.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Lynz, I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so down, I haven't got much advice to offer I'm afraid but I just wanted to add my voice to the numerous others who have said how valued/respected you are around here, and how much people care about you.

It sounds to me like you have just had too much on your plate in too short a space of time, and your brain has just gone 'No, enough! I cannot work under these conditions!! I'm feeling overwhelmed and overworked and I'm not going to be co-operative or happy or positive and you can just sit there and feel fed up, drained and pointless while I have a little rest for a few days/weeks'.

(You are probably now thinking....okay, move slowly away from the crazy lady who is going on about talking brains.....:))

I think that once you start to get a couple of things that are bothering you out of the way, everything else will start to fall into place again, and you will feel much more like the upbeat, positive Lynz we all know and LOVE!

Please take some comfort from the recent posts you have had from people on here, it might not be easy to see it now, but you really deserve all the lovely things that have been said about you. I wish you all the very best with your treatment and I really hope you are about to turn the corner, and leave all the horrible things you have been through over the last year behind you.

Take care of yourself, if there's anything at all I can do to help, please just let me know.

    Love Snaggles xxx

Hi lynz I'm really sorry if that came across as questioning it wasn't meant to be.

A few years ago i was in a situation where i lost my job through ill health and they were the most unco-operative bunch of _____ Insert any rude word here that you wish.
You give your job loyalty and support then when you need it back where are they?
I totally empathise with what you are going through and the worries and concerns that go with it.
Not having money in your purse is an awful feeling, especially with getting to and from hospital. Maybe patient transport can help with your journeys.

I know the feeling of having lost your independence. Please please please take faith that things do get better. I will wrack my brains for anything that may help and let you know. If you have a bad day, give into it. don't beat yourself up over it. you dont HAVE to fight all the time. take some time out in your corner before coming back into the ring fighting.

    Hugs

    Lynz,

    you're exhausted.

Pick the battles you can win.

    Let the rest go.

You have a plan to make things better i.e. house sale.

    OH has been working more.

Like the frog in the pan of water, you can't feel the small changes; but they are happening, and over time, will make a difference.

Maybe you aren't meant to be independent just now. Maybe this is your time to rest and heal.

Maybe I'm talking Zen b@lls. But I am thinking of you.
