    What for?

OP was given a bill which they paid in full!

Er, I dunno. I think I'm going mad.

Not really. If a meal is not "fit for purpose" (e.g. not as described, not cooked properly, etc.) then you could make a reasonable deduction as they have breached the contract between them and you. However if you buy a flawless burger for £99 you would have no right to make any deductions.

Fitness for purpose is totally irrelevant when it comes to buying a meal!

I think it's disgusting that you "quickly left" knowing you had been under-charged.
In the OP's defence, I have done the same before - I reserved a table for a party of about 12 at Pizza Express and specifically asked if I could use both the clubcard vouchers I had and the 2 for 1 vouchers at the same time (even though the terms say I cant). The guy checked with the manager and said it was ok.

Eat all the food and suddenly they have no recollection of this conversation and expect me to pay double the amount it should of been. After about half an hour of them stonewalling me I get them to call the person who booked the table and eventually they agree to it "for goodwill".

After being utterly !!!!ed off they gave me a single bill in which they'd put a few drinks and a Pizza on - it was obviously not right (came to £3 per head in the end, with a pizza drink & starters...) but I felt that they'd used up any good will I had left for them, paid and left. I did pay in cash for this very reason though...

Nothing the OP did was illegal - they, by quoting a price of £13 and the OP accepting, entered a contract.

I would go and talk to the restaurant tbh...
Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.
