The key giveaway here would be the ATM screen... the menu shown would be different for CREDIT and would legally have to ask you to accept the fee for using a credit card in an ATM.

Although when I'm going from pub to pub (Oh, nearly time!) I just want my £10 or £20, I don't want to press yes and no all the time to "Balance?", "Receipt?", "Mini Statement?", "Fries with that?" so just repeatedly press the same button until it gives me my money.... lolz

I've done this too, however it was my mistake so I stood the loss. I didn't expect someone else to pay for my error.
