Hi all,can anyone help, as there seems to be a mix of opinions.
What is the best way to get the most clubcard points?
I have a finest card wich I get 1 point per £2 spent. At the moment I hand over my clubcard first then pay with the credit card. Another factor ismy wife has a staff discount card which is linked to the clubcard, so should she 1st hand over a clubcard to get maximum points then staff discount to recieve 10% then pay with credit card. It all seems a bit confusing. A friend who is also in the same situation has set up three clubcard acounts, one for the credit card, one standard card and one for her husband, seems strange, as not even the tesco staff, or credit card people seem to agree. Help.

The best way is to use a Clubcard Plus for all shopping in Tesco, you'll get your normal 2 points per £ plus an extra 1 point per £ on the CC+.

Then use your CC credit card for all shopping outside of Tesco, to get those points too.

Reuse lots of bags for green CC points, and make sure you go through non-self-scan tills, to get till spits.

And it doesn't matter what order the cards are swiped.

Your staff discount card needs to be held over first to receive the discount, the main points for the transaction will go onto this card. You can then pay with a clubcard plus, or a tesco credit card and receive the bonus points through this.

Example - 3 points per £ for clubcard plus made up of
2-normal points onto clubcard plus
1-bonus point for paying by clubcard plus

OR

Still 3 points per £,
2points onto staff discount card (only way to get the points and the discount)
1 bonus point per £ for paying by clubcard plus.

I personally use the 2nd option as I get the same number of points, and still get my staff discount.
