Um no - I rang to query if it was OK, only to be told they had no record of offering the refund and could I send them a copy of the email they had sent me! Just warning people, that is all. If you want a hassle free time don't buy from them.
It has all been dealt with by email, so I am not sure where the postal strike enters into this.0 -

Because due to the postal strike, mail order bookdealers acquire an additional workload of enquiries, complaints, reorders, cancellations, and refunds to deal with. That leads to delays.0
