in the leaflet i got it says that a 8year old needs £47.45 personal allowance. i was wondering how come a 13year old needed more than a 8year old????
It could be because a 13 years old has a larger appetite than a 8 years old. Buying clothes and shoes for an older child tends to be slightly more expensive (the more fabric is used to make clothes the more they cost). They also tends to grow out of their clothes and shoes quicker.
The amount of money needed is always going to be on the increase as we get older.
Hope that helps!0
