Originally posted on hotdeals but I thought some people here might not know about it. Amazon have this on offer at £199. Considering its normally anything from £330 up to £400, its a brilliant deal. I've just received mine in the post this morning and am very happy, plus all the reviews I read on it indicated that people thought it was a great camera. Plus £5 voucher for orders over £20 on amazon at the moment.

It's 6 mp but does the usual fujifilm thing up to 12mp. Prosumer so its aimed at gap between digital SLR and point and shoot. You can also buy additional wide lens and macro lens to add on so it sort of has attachable lens options like a slr even though the original lens doesn't come off from the body.
Oh and incase someone gets one and wants to up the 16mb xd card that comes with it (lol), 7dayshop have them at bargain prices:
512 mb - £17.75

Only thing is if you are buying XD cards for it - check the fuji website becuase saving movies isn't that compatible with the new M or H xd cards I think so you got to get the normal XD card instead.

Excellent price. If you're not bothered about buying a refurbished one direct from Fuji with 6 months guarantee you can get it for £183.00 here:

Yep, however, if you examine the picturem its one of the M or H ones (can't remember which) that Fuji themselves say that the S7000 isn't fully compatible with in movie mode. I know the amazon description doesn't explain which kind it is, so I didn't trust them to send the right one out...0 -
I have this camera (although when I bought it about 18 months ago it was A LOT dearer) and I would recommend it to anyone
its a lovely camera to use and gives amazing pictures , just remember to read the manual , I made the mistake of not reading it for months as I thought I knew how to use the camera having upgraded from anoth er fujifilm camera , but once looking at the manual I realise I was missing out on so much! lol0 -
