hi, a good way to make eyeshadows stay put, wet a cotton bud with a baby wipe (just the right degree of moistness) and dip it in your eyeshadow power then quickly wrap the baby wipe around the bud as if to tighten the powder up, it will turn into a creamy consistency and dries quickly back to powder and lasts all nite!, whereas powder eyeshadows esp loose power can dissapear quicker than you put it on x:happyhear0

Mac are the best for long lasting -Mac the company actually started out by just making makeup for theatre performances under hot light and lots of movement- go see Wicked- its Mac all the way!
This is why I believe them when they say its long lasting- and I've also tried it for myself- the colours are actually as dense as they look- so many others you have to brush over your skin over and over just to get the colour as dense as it looks in the pot. With Mac its not like that.
It does cost more then the make-up you see in the general stores, but OMG its so worth it!0 -
oh no so sad about B shutting down
Looks like I missed all the bargains too. Very sad.
ETA- looks like the website is staying up so you can still buy online, just the shops are shutting (correct me if I'm wrong, I only had a quick look, but you can still buy online, and they have even released new colours etc..)
I had never been to a shop anyway, I only ever bought online anyway so no difference for me.0 -
just to add that as well as barry M, Urban decay and B don't believe in animal testing either so thumbs up for them!
