I just went myself. Took the plunge and spoke to an employee of flea sea wold... they told me the bargain PC's/laptops are in the business area and I need to talk to the business area staff. I didnt bother wasting my lunch hour sitting with them...

They are NOT on display! :(

Well in my local they had an A4 sheet up saying 'No laptops or PC's' .. so if they were in the business area then they were misleading people.

Spoke to PCworld on the phone earlier. The toshiba lappy at £250 is the L20-197. It supposed to be good for the price, but only has a claimed battery life of 1.5 hours, so might not be so good for mobile use.

For anyone interested, they said there's only 1 in stock in London (Brentford)

I may be wrong but I think that is in their Bank Holiday specials rather than the 11 hour clearance... so should be available over the weekend too.

went to lancaster store and asked the staff. They barely knew about the clearance. Was shown a print out which had about 1-3 items from each category in the deal. Laptops seems to be the main one with 5-6 items, some around £250 which was quite a surprise.

Nothing here to be excited about tbh - unless you've been looking for a laptop for a while.
