I wrote to Vanquis 6 weeks ago regarding a defaulted account I have with them. (stupidly I know, im better at present at managing my finances!!!)
The balance is still outstanding at approx £1100
I offered £300 in return for the default removed and the account settled in full as per instruction on here, from another MSE user!
I am still yet to hear from them regarding this account. The have still oddly sending me statements each month, although I have made no payment for months now. The debt seems just to be getting bigger!
My question is, what should be my next step?
The CC company do not have a telephone number for me, only my address and have not wrote at all regarding the debt other than the statements.
What should I do next? Any advice much appreciated!

Perhaps you could phone them? ? ? ?When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0 -
Hang on a minute - how can the debt be getting bigger if it has defaulted?
Have they actually served you with a default notice?
They can't add interest or charges to the balance of a defaulted account.
Last time I made a complaint to Vanquis they took literally 56 days (the maximum time permissible) to reply. I wouldn't hold your breath!Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

yes, they are still adding intrest on all the time! Everyone is more and more expensive!
What should I do about this?
The account has defaulted, they have sent me notice of this.0
