Shepherds Bush Hotel

Friend of mine is going to a gig in the Shepherds Bush Empire in a few months and has asked me to have a look on the net for a decent hotel near there.

Can only seem to find B & Bs (which she'd unsure about, having had bad experiences with them in the past) and K West, and it £140 plus vat a night that seems a tad expensive.

So I thought I'd ask if anyone here knew of any?

There are a few B&B's and Hotels on Shepherds Bush Road, just off the green, about 5 minutes walk from the Empire. There is also a Novotel, still within walking distance (just walk down Shepherds bush road, take a left, cross over the road and take first right).

Some of them do say Hammersmith, the Shepherds Bush Road links Bush and Hammersmith, so it is close by and walking distance, or a quick bus ride.

The Kensington Hilton is only a short walk from Shepherd's Bush. They do some very good offers.

I've stayed here before when I'm seeing a show at the Shepherd's Bush Empire. It was quite cheap and is almost opposite the SBE.
