Empty can

Bought a can of something off eBay. It's empty. Seller says "it was full when it left". Chances of winning a PayPal dispute? (It's a low value item, so I can't really be bothered, but just wondered, if I did open a dispute, how would one "prove" that the item was faulty ie empty? My word against the seller's surely?).

The thing is as a buyer paypal more than likely will find in the buyers favour, though you will probably be asked to return the can at your own expense.0

I do, although tbh I wouldn't expect an aerosol to weigh that much anyway.

How was it delivered? If by normal post, the seller might be a bit more compliant if you point out aerosols shouldn't be sent using the standard post, and if they don't shape up you'll take it further with Royal Mail regarding them sending illegal products.I do, although tbh I wouldn't expect an aerosol to weigh that much anyway.
