    Will my OR not question the increase when it just so happens to coincide with a wage increase??? Or is it not like that???

    I don't see this being a problem.

    You could easily have been struggling to make your clothing allowance stretch to fit your needs so this pay rise has made it possible to now cloth your family, especially with the cold weather coming up.
