Slight increase in income (soa)

Hi all,

I would just like to ask if there is anything I can either introduce or increase in my expenditure?
I have had a slight increase in wage which takes me quite close (within £20 of the £99 surplus allowed).
I really dont want an IPO, which I know some of you dissagree with try to avoid!! See below:

Rent £445.00

Housekeeping £400.00

Electricity £80.00

Telephone £60.00

Travelling £40.00

Clothing £25.00

Council Tax £100.00

Tv licence £12.00

Medical £20.00

Haircuts £20.00

Holiday £20.00

Total = £1,222.00

My household income is now £1,306.

This takes me to £84 surplus which worries me slightly because another increase in wage would take me over the £99 allowed.

Any suggestions/comments.

Thanks.

By the way, im 2 months into BR and have just sent a letter to my OR regarding the increade.
I am also on a NT-IPA which hasnt started yet but runs to the end March next year.

You can up clothing to £50. You have no contents insurance. No water bill.

My water rates are in with the rent and as a bankrupt, any kind of insurance is a no no anyway.
If I was allowed to up clothing to £50 then thats something I would definately go for.
Will my OR not question the increase when it just so happens to coincide with a wage increase??? Or is it not like that???

I thought of declining the increase in pay but the person who deals with wages is, for want of a better word, a big gossip at work and my circumstances would soon be broadcast to the entire workplace!!!

Insurance is not a no no. It is very important to get especially when you are BR. Get contents with accidental damage.

The usual allowance is £50 so he won't question it.

If he questions it just say that you found that the previous amount was not viable. If you want to be on the safe side then just up to £40.

They won't want to see proof of the contents insurance if it is a reasonable amout £15/20.
