Unlock my Nokia 6230i
I have a Nokia 6230i on Vodaphone and I can't seem to unlock it. I want it to work on O2. The IMEI is 356645001062100. I've typed in, what appears to be, an appropriate code and pressed the send button (which I assume you have to press) and it says "active incoming calls divert" then just goes back to where it was. Am I doing something wrong?
I've also tried it with a sim card but it says it's restricted. I've tried DCT3 and DCT4 codes because I don't know which it should be.
Would be much appreciated.:j

Codes always end with the # key. That should result with the message 'phone restriction off'. No need to press the send key. Make sure there is NO sim card in.0

you need to enter the code with a non voda sim in
you only get 5 tries (sometimes 3 on some new nokias)
post details in the sticky at the top and someone will check the code0 -

Thanks for your responses but still no luck.
Should I have a sim card in this model of phone when trying to unlock it?
One of the codes I've tried to unlock it with is #pw+405067536352465+7#. Nothing happens when I enter this number without a sim card in the phone.
When I put an O2 sim card in the phone and try it says "phone restricted".
I've pressed enter, to Undo it and then entered the code but it still doesn't do anything.
Any ideas?
Many thanks0 -
I think that means you have had your attempts at using the code, and now you must get it "hard" unlocked, pop down to your local mobile shop or market :-)
From my experance if you can find a market store it will be a lot cheaper
Thanks Tom :-)0 -

you only get 5 attempts to unlock the phone, i suspect you have already done this. Although if you are entering the correct code and have used up your 5 tries then it should say "cannot undo restriction".ummm...0
