Most top of the shop direct debit tariffs will be cheaper than Spreading Warmth (unless you are a low user.)
Check the comparison sites with your annual useage and see what is available. Make sure you also look under the single fuel tabs as you may find a bargain in your region if you are a higher than average user by going with separate suppliers.0 -
Spread warmth is nPower's social tariff.
Unfortunately, you cannot compare other suppliers social tariffs very easily as each has it's own eligibility requirements.

i called npower today about changing to the spreading warmth tariff and i was told they dont do it anymore but that i should keep checking as things often change.0

i mentioned to her that it was on their website. she just said something like yeah we are aiming to get it taken down from the site.0
