I'm sure that will go down well for you as a seller. A good way to get lower ranking in the listings.0

Yes I got emailed a survey too and I let them have it with both barrels. It felt good but I'm sceptical about them taking any notice. If my replies do affect my rankings I dont care, they can shove it as far as I'm concerened. Like melisa I mostly only buy now, its too much hassle to be a small-time seller these days.
BTW any market research is regulated and replies are supposed to be anonymous, so if they do use it against me as a seller then I can shop them to the MRS.

Got mine tonight - my comments being that there has been too much change this year and I don't understand half of it (top seller - whats that all about ?), free postage means it is not viable to list some items and has driven me to Amazon for others, but i like the new unpaid process.0

Totally agree Melisa. There are some people on here who have nothing constructive to say, just chime in with a snotty comment now and again, I suspect just to get their post count up. Usually comments directed at peeps who dare to disagree with them.
Dont let it spoil your day

I'm never convinced they really listen to these surveys.
Often when they introduce a daft new rule, they support it by saying that feedback from people has promptd the move but then you go to the eBay boards and cannot find a single supporter.
Its a bit like a tabloid quoting 'a close friend of x said'. It gives them carte blanch to fob us off without never actually showing us the results of such surveys.0 -

I think once when someone bought the wrong brand of coffee in the ebay office they may have changed it.
As far as ebay are concerned Free P&P and DSRs work. In all there previous research the thing customers complained about most was the postage. Some Sellers didn't/don't do themselves any favours by the amounts they charge. I expect by the middle of next year for all categories to be Free P&P. At present I already list most of my items this way and since I have done that my sales have actually increased as has my profit margins. Its all about your model. (not airfix)0 -
