Nero 6 not working.

We installed Nero6 last night and used it ok but today it won't open.
The screencomes up but when I choose task the next screen flashes up like a ghost outline and disappears. Then my pc freezes and it's because Nero is not responding so I have to shut down and start again.
Anyone help please?

Did you install the update http://www.nero.com/nero6/en/nero-up.php no need to install the Yahoo Toolbar.0

Check the Nero log:
C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.txt0 -
Have installed updates, still the same.
Says can't open the log file, may be corrupted.
